Yep, a little baby bunny tail.
They aren't white.
I got my pointed whites!
The color isn't yet showing up on the bigger white baby but that one too is a pointed white simply because the one pointed white means their daddy, Blueberry Sundae, has the genotype aaB-Cc(h)ddE- so the only white he can produce is pointed white. Their color will fill in and darken as they grow but it will look something like their granddaddy, Hop Smudge Sundae, one of the sweetest, gentlest bucks I've had. He sired 2 litters before he escaped one night while I slept, and something, likely an owl, got him. I love all my bunnies but Smudge just had that little extra to love and I miss him very much. That his coloring now lives on in his grandbabies just gives me a great big ol' giggly hoppy dance.
And speaking of noses, Magic's baby is kind of the opposite. That kit's nose is white. So are a couple toes on its right front foot. Cute but not correct. That baby will be for sale at 8 weeks old. So will one of the pointed whites. I haven't decided about Kat's black kit. So far, no white mismarks on that kit. Gender has not announced itself in any of the kits yet and if the black is a doe, that one might stay here.
I love watching kits reveal their secrets.
