More Spa
A lot of us, when not in the bar or dining, spent productive chatty time in the building
known as Town Hall, doing assorted fibery stuff. Amidst the laughter.
This photo is for Cheryl, who was wondering what he was doing.
I was most intriqued with this lady's vest. She didn't make it so I couldn't pick her brain on technique, but
oh, do I love the vest! She did hand it to me for a good in depth look. Wheeeee! It's nuno felted. I've been wanting to make a nuno felt vest for a while and hers stirred that pot a lot. And then another trip into someone's booth provided the perfect fiber and color way combo. Ummmm. Yes, I bought a bunny blend. I can't resist. In fact, I bought a second one, too. More on the buying later.

You captured a great shot of Teresa's beautiful shawl! I'm so happy to see that. The red vest is very unique...you could do that!

So. Jealous! Looks like a fantastic time. I really wish I could have gone (and I was even half way there already). Maybe next year...

That vest IS really nice. And I Know that lady behind her, with the BRIGHT hat on, doing some spinning.

Great pictures! I recognize a blue shawl that I've admired so.
You so need to do a vest like that. Is it seamed together? It looks like it from here - that shouldn't be to difficult, I mean after you make the felt :) Cut, cut, zip, zip, and add a zipper - viola :)
One year I'm going to have to make it there.

"He" is named Bart, and he's weaving a table runner, which he started and finished over the course of the weekend. Cool, no?
