Oh, Good Heavens!
KitKatKnit is running a contest in which we old people all take a look at what we were knitting a year ago, according to our blogs. So I went looking back. What I found is some serious slacker-ing on my part. Turns out a year ago, I was working on a pair of socks from yarn I bought at Rhinebeck. And here's where
it gets embarrassing. Those socks today? Yeah, still interrupted. I did at least get the ball winder out of the car at some point and knit a bit more, but .... I guess I know what I need to knit on.
I did finally accomplish one goal. I got a decent picture of Gypsy. With Molly. Both of them sitting still.
That doesn't happen often. It's that pressed rawhide bone. They will do pretty much anything for one of those. I try to keep them on hand, chalking up the expense as sort of insurance for my spinning wheels and assorted wood tools. I ran out about a week ago, and over the last couple days, I've seen both dogs licking my new cherry cabinets in the kitchen. Time for new bones! I always get enough so each dog has her own bone, and extras so when one dog decides to gather bones into a heap and lay on top of them so the other can't have one, I can still give the
deprived dog a bone. Doesn't matter, though. What the other dog has must be much better. Or whoever steals the most wins, I guess.

Is one of your dogs still a pup? She/he looks young....my pack of four love(s) the bones as well and if they are not kept in stock, then my dining room chairs get the gnawing! When they were puppies, they loved my knitting needles....go figure.

They are beautiful. Those "good" dogs wouldn't do anything bad. Great company for you and each other.

The pups are too cute! Curiosity getting the best of me I had to check out my archives to see what I was working on. Ivy, and darn it she looks the same just a wee partial sleeve :)

Those two are just too cute. Have you found Cherrybrook out of NJ yet? Great prices and quick ship to CT. Easy on the pocket book for those of us with BIG dogs.
